We rely on parent volunteers for a successful Cub Scout program
• Parents turn over every 3-4 years. We must always be recruiting.
• Volunteering allows you to experience Scouting in a new way.
• Our philosophy is many hands make light work!
Den Leaders
Den Leaders are the most consequential volunteer role in Cub Scouts. We cannot run the Cub Scout program without Den Leaders. Sometimes two parents will share duties as Co-Leaders which can reduce the work load. Pack 4480 has resources and guidance to support our Den Leaders, all you need is a willing attitude!
Pack Committee
The administrative duties of the pack are spread across the members of the Pack Committee. Keeping these key position filled is vital to the success of Pack 4480. See the Volunteer Guide for descriptions of the following positions. Take the position specific training at my.scouting.org. Typical time commitments are 1-2 hours per month.
